Job summary

Florida East Coast Railway is seeking a Trackman to perform track maintenance, repair and construction duties with a safety-first focus under supervision.

Starting pay is $21.73/hr. After qualification, pay increases to $25.56/hr. Training begins November 9, 2026 in New Smyrna Beach, FL, then on-the-job training in West Palm Beach. Hours are 7:00–18:00, Monday–Thursday, in West Palm Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to instructions written or spoken.
• Specific vision abilities include depth, distance, color, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load, and unload materials as directed.
• Operate track maintenance equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
• Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide safety watch while teammates work.
• Assist other employees as instructed and follow safety rules.
