Augustine for on‑the‑job training, with a starting pay of $28.48/hr and potential to $33.50/hr after qualification. Work is scheduled Tue–Fri, 7:00–18:00, with on‑site duties and a focus on safety and compliance with FRA rules.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent
• CDL Class B required by state/federal law
• Must be able to operate railway highway motor vehicles
• Willing to work non-standard hours and shifts
• Must meet FRA Track Safety Standards Part 213 Subparts A–G, A&B qualifications
• Must complete FRA trainings and tests within 30 working days
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in track maintenance (Class 4 or higher)
• Must qualify to operate FEC MOW vehicles and obtain necessary permits

Responsibilities

• Direct and instruct equipment operators in safe and efficient work performance
• Train welder helpers to provide safe relief for the position
• Ensure tools and supplies are maintained, used, and stored properly
• Prepare payroll, production reports, and safety/ incident reports
• Adhere to FEC Safety Policies and Procedures
• Other duties as assigned by manager
