R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking a hands-on track maintenance helper to assist in day-to-day inspection and repair work across divisions. You will work with the Track Supervisor to install, repair, and inspect track, operate related machinery, and document work while promoting a safe environment.
The role requires at least 2 years in track maintenance, knowledge of FRA regulations, and the ability to pass safety tests, with strong communication and teamwork as essential assets.
Accountability: Responsible for assisting in management of day-to-day activities involving track inspection and track maintenance / repair teams to ensure safe, efficient rail quality for all divisions within Railroad Company. Interact with internal and external customers in support of achieving company goals.

Environmental Conditions: Performs some duties in job-site environments, in and around moving locomotives, railcars, vehicles and equipment. Frequent exposure to weather elements; and appropriate PPE required for job site visits.
Major or Unusual Problems: 24/7 availability required. Maintenance of teamwork within track inspection and maintenance / repair operations and with company and corporate groups. Achieving timely and expedited service to RJC divisions, often in situations beyond the control of the switching or shortline operation.
