Job summary

Crux AI seeks an experienced engineer to own the mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for its TPU fleet. You will translate Google TPU requirements into Crux facility specs, design reviews, and oversee commissioning to ensure first-time-right turnover.

You will lead design reviews, vendor evaluations, and implement factory-built solutions to accelerate deployment while maintaining safety and reliability across sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mechanical/electrical engineering for data centers or critical facilities.
• Experience with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE standards and BMS/EPMS systems.
• Direct experience with high-density AI/HPC infrastructure and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Own the facility basis of design for TPU deployments and related power/cooling systems.
• Translate pod requirements into rack/room-level facility specs and update standards.
• Review third-party designs for AI-readiness against Crux requirements and quantify gaps.
• Lead equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and commissioning oversight.
