Job summary

Healthy Start of Hardee, Highlands, & Polk seeks a TPPA Coordinator to oversee the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Alliance program and ensure delivery of services to at least 500 students annually. Serve as a liaison among teens, families, and community stakeholders to promote healthy choices and reduce risks.

The role emphasizes building partnerships, data-informed evaluation, and implementation of evidence-based curricula with local organizations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (BA or BS preferred) or equivalent experience in human relations/health/education.
• At least 3 years' experience teaching, educating, and mentoring youth.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of data collection software helpful.
• Training in Adolescent Health Education preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact, confidentiality, and empathy.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of Office 365, Canva, budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client engagement skills.
• Knowledge about local communities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive image of the Coalition and the TPPA Program.
• Provide at least 3 community presentations or outreach events quarterly.
• Increase knowledge about local teen pregnancy and STI rates via surveys.
• Collaborate with community partners serving youth (10-19) for TPPA program development.
• Ensure program stability and growth through yearly evaluation and capacity building.
• Coordinate development and implementation of evidence-based lesson plans and workshops.
• Oversee quality assurance for TPPA contract requirements including Teen Summit and TOP classes.
• Coordinate curricula adoption with partner organizations.
