Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Columbus Forge Module Center seeks a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Manager to lead a skilled TPM team and implement CORE standards. The role focuses on uptime, OEE, and continuous improvement within a high-mix, high-volume aerospace manufacturing setting.

You will supervise, coordinate TPM projects, and develop SOPs while driving standardization and training for personnel, ensuring cost-effective reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years' experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, machine maintenance or related environment OR a Master’s degree and 7 or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, machine maintenance or related environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency with Lean tools and processes
• Experience leading implementation process

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team that will Identify, categorize and regularly review equipment; supervise team to schedule and maintain a cleaning schedule for equipment.
• Implement TPM/CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) standards and baseline current state of Equipment.
• Lead implementation of the TPM Process and ensure standard work deliverables with a future state analysis; guide team in best practice sharing and standardization of 6S and TPM projects
• Create and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) on new CORE processes and ensure training for personnel.
• Document benefits realized / Lessons Learned (Uptime, OEE, on time Delivery, Yield Improvements, ECT.)
• Complete and Maintain the TPM Engagement Charter
• Support other Reliability engineering projects with functional specification development and resource coordination to meet schedule and cost needs
• Ensure appropriate CORE tools are utilized (RCCA, Autonomous Maintenance, and PM optimization)
• Produce and drive technical writing processes to support the data collection to support and justify the team achievements with Forecasting and Planning.
