Job summary

Generac is seeking a TPM Specialist to lead and sustain the facility's Total Productive Maintenance program, coordinating maintenance and operations teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include updating SOPs, training staff, and driving continuous improvement projects across TPM/PM and CMMS processes, with a focus on achieving OEE goals and cost savings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance department.
• 1 year experience with CMMS and TPM/TPR processes.
• 1 year experience running Kaizen events to improve OEE.

Responsibilities

• Executes and maintains the TPM program within the facility and assists in PM programs.
• Updates SOPs and maintains Sharepoint site for work instructions, parts list, drawings.
• Identifies training opportunities for Machine Techs and Maintenance Techs.
• Trains, coaches, and develops TPM staff.
• Sets expectations for the audit program to motivate the team.
• Oversees critical spare parts inventory management.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and drives OEE projects.
• Manages CMMS workload and staffing alignment.
• Monitors CMMS metrics to drive goal achievement.
