Job summary

Ascensus, the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans in America, seeks a TPA Business Development Director to grow and deepen relationships with Third Party Administrators.

You will collaborate with local sales, operations, and partners to identify, cultivate, and expand TPA relationships within the assigned territory and position Ascensus as a recordkeeper of choice for plans administered by TPAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in retirement plan industry with TPAs/recordkeeping exposure.
• Proven relationship management and business development track record.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%, including overnight trips.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Design local territory strategy with the sales team and identify target TPAs.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with TPAs, principals, owners and staff.
• Train sales representatives to position Ascensus as a TPA-friendly recordkeeper.
• Present Ascensus value proposition, service model, and platform to TPAs to win referrals.
