Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle service needs and repair orders.
• Explain technician findings, recommended repairs, maintenance services, and repair estimates clearly and professionally.
• Prepare accurate parts and labor estimates and help customers make informed service decisions without aggressive upselling.
• Schedule service appointments, coordinate repair workflow, and communicate with technicians and the Lead Service Advisor.
• Provide timely vehicle status updates and respond to customer inquiries by phone, text, and email.
• Order parts, assist with extended warranty claims, and upload relevant photos and documentation.
• Follow up with customers regarding recommended services, repair approvals, and vehicle status.
• Assist with customer transportation when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive service advising experience.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair, maintenance services, and parts and labor estimating.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical recommendations clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders, appointments, and customer communications in a busy repair shop.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn shop management software; Tekmetric experience is preferred.
• Ability to recommend and sell necessary automotive repairs while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Experience with parts ordering, extended warranty claims, independent repair shops, or Toyota and other Asian vehicles is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $40,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
• Bonus Opportunities: Additional earning opportunities; bonus structure to be confirmed.
• Pay Schedule: Biweekly.
