Toyomaster Auto Repair in Willis, TX is hiring an experienced Senior Technician to perform advanced diagnostics and heavy-line engine repairs on mostly Toyota and Asian vehicles. You will independently diagnose complex issues, perform high-quality repairs, and contribute to leadership tasks within the shop.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on experience, ASE certifications are preferred, and you’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule with bi-weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical and drivability concerns.
• Diagnose and complete heavy-line engine repairs and major mechanical work.
• Identify and resolve challenging vehicle performance issues using diagnostic equipment and proven repair procedures.
• Service and repair primarily Toyota and other Asian vehicles, including general automotive maintenance when needed.
• Diagnose difficult problems independently and complete accurate, quality repairs.
• Assist with shop foreman responsibilities, including technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and workflow coordination.
• Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and repair progress clearly with service advisors.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and collaborate with fellow technicians to support efficient shop operations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred, with demonstrated A-Level diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Advanced experience with engine diagnostics, heavy-line mechanical repairs, and drivability troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle concerns independently and complete repairs accurately.
• Experience servicing Toyota and other Asian vehicles preferred; technicians from domestic, European, dealership, or independent shop backgrounds are also welcome.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and assist with shop foreman responsibilities; previous technician leadership experience is a plus.
• Personal automotive tools required; experience with Snap-on diagnostic equipment is preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required; familiarity with Tekmetric shop management software and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $60,000–$100,000, based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
