Job summary

JAKKS Pacific, Inc. is seeking an experienced Designer for our Boys Division in Santa Monica, CA. You will own the creative vision from concept to production, translating trends and licenses into innovative toy ideas and play patterns.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, developing sketches, renderings, and 3D visuals while managing timelines and costs to deliver compelling products that fit brand vision.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years design/product development experience in consumer products or toy industries.
• Strong sketching, illustration and rendering skills; proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with 3D programs (Rhino, Maya, Solid Works, Keyshot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a toy nerd and identify new play concepts through trend insights.
• Concept design and collaboration to create innovative products and play patterns.
• Design visualization through sketches, renderings, graphics, 3D models and materials specs.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors per project.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentation materials for meetings and trade shows.
