Job summary

Jazwares is seeking a Senior Toy Designer for our Dolls line to translate consumer insights into innovative, collectible products. You will own the design process from sketching to production, partnering with brand management and manufacturing to meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive creative concepts, and ensure designs align with licensor guidelines while maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of toy or consumer product design experience across hard and soft goods.
• 1+ years of experience collaborating with global manufacturing factories (Asia preferred).
• Strong understanding of licensed brand guidelines and market trends.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end toy design lifecycle from concept to production.
• Create play systems with high-quality designs within target costs and QA/QC.
• Collaborate with brand management, engineering, packaging, and licensors.
• Pitch concepts to stakeholders and drive consensus across teams.
• Document specifications and changes for licensor approval.
• Coordinate with global manufacturing and outside vendors for mass production.
