Job summary

Just Play is seeking an Associate Product Designer to join the New Brands team in El Segundo, CA. You will translate consumer insights into innovative toy concepts across plush, dolls, collectibles, and playsets.

You will sketch, illustrate, and render ideas, collaborating with Design, Marketing, and Product Management to bring concepts to life from ideation to production. A strong portfolio and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D CAD are essential, with 2+ years in toy design.

Qualifications

2+ years of toy or consumer product design experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D CAD.
Portfolio demonstrating ideation and product design.
Strong sketching, illustration, visualization, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of toy development processes and materials.

Responsibilities

Generate original product concepts for Just Play's New Brands.
Develop toy concepts from ideation through design execution.
Create sketches, renderings, and 2D/3D models to communicate design intent.
Present concepts to Design, Marketing, Product Management, and leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors throughout development.
Research trends and consumer insights to inspire new products.
Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
