Job summary

JAKKS Pacific is seeking a hands-on Packaging Designer to join our Creative Services Division in Santa Monica. You will produce production-ready packaging files, design innovative packaging for licensed and in-house products, and contribute to logos, branding, and marketing materials under the Director’s guidance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of packaging/graphic design experience in consumer products or toys, and a degree in Packaging/Graphic Design or related field.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years graphic design/packaging development experience in consumer products or toy industries.
• Degree in Packaging/Graphic Design, Illustration or related field.
• Expert in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator; Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on skills with cutting tools to create mock-ups.
• Knowledge of offset printing and packaging materials.
• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production-ready packaging files for print.
• Design and conceptualize packaging for licensed and in-house products under Director guidance.
• Create logos, branding, retail & trade show displays, advertising, websites and related marketing materials.
• Coordinate with art director, marketing, and product teams for sale sample requests.
• Post final mechanical art to Hong Kong team or domestic vendors.
