Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, is seeking a Dispatcher to manage towing resources and deliver outstanding customer service to our towing partners. The role supports branch productivity and growth.

You will coordinate resources, monitor performance, and uphold safety and company policies while building strong relationships with the IAA Transportation team and tow drivers. 2+ years customer service, 1+ years dispatch experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service experience.
• 1+ years direct dispatch experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities related to towing operations and on-time performance goals.
• Manage tow truck resources and assign work efficiently to boost productivity.
• Plan future day resource requirements and coordinate with towers to line up resources.
• Identify when demand exceeds capacity & refer to part-time networks for extra resources.
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Recruit new towers to build towing networks with added resources.
• Provide documentation to drivers for each pickup/delivery, including check and cash handling.
• Monitor work-in-progress & adjust to ensure timely performance.
• Identify and elevate issues related to transportation activities to management.
• Form a fundamental relationship with the IAA Transportation team.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all tow drivers.
• Review and analyze reports on transportation activity, including Time Performance metrics.
• Comply with safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
