Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician II to install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment on towers. You will join a safety-minded team dedicated to high-quality service for customers and communities.

You bring at least 2 years of tower experience, comfort with climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work up to 12 hours. A valid driver’s license and a safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Safety is a day-to-day priority.
Minimum 2 years of tower experience.
Ability to climb towers and lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work up to 12 hours and read instructions.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment on towers.
Offload material and inventory; prepare and clean sites.
Assist in tower erection and installation of antennas.
Mentor newer technicians; perform other duties as assigned.
