Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Tower Technician III to install, maintain, and operate telecom equipment across wired, wireless, fiber, and microwave systems. You will climb towers, assist in tower erection, and support antenna installations while upholding strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of tower experience, a High School diploma, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You will mentor junior techs and contribute to safety and quality on long-term projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber, and microwave telecom equipment.
• Follow safety policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI).
• Climb towers and assist in tower erection using cranes and helicopters.
• Support in antenna installation and transmission line work.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and perform other duties as assigned.
