Job summary

Ontivity in Colorado Springs is seeking a Tower Tech III to join our growing team. You will help build and maintain wireless towers, install antennas and related gear, and ensure safety and quality on every site.

You will climb structures to install equipment, mentor crew members, and manage daily PPE checks and time sheets. CDL A and OSHA 30 are preferred; travel and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.
• CDL Class A certification is a plus.
• Must pass a background check for government security clearances.
• Knowledge of 100% tie off techniques and safety.
• Experience with Self-Support and Guyed towers, monopoles and antennas.
• Experience with antenna mounts and microwave/cellular systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work activities for crew and equipment.
• Ensure crew profitability and on-time completion.
• Maintain safety and quality on site.
• Climb structures and perform installations.
• Mentor and train tower hands to improve team performance.
