Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a forklift operator for our York, PA facility. Starting rate is $19/hr with potential to earn $25+/hr after training, and a full-time 1st shift slot from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.

You will operate forklifts, inspect trailers, verify orders with RF devices, load pallets, and perform routine equipment inspections.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment such as sit down forklift/clamp truck is required.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities.
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks
• Completing inspection of trailers before loading any product
• Verifying loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets
• Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers & ensuring pallets are secured properly to avoid damages
• Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $25+/hr after training! Full Time, 1st shift available.

You will contribute by:
