Job summary

City of Kingman is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative at the Kingman Visitor Center. You will greet visitors, provide travel tips, and assist with gift shop transactions while promoting local tourism and events.

Responsibilities include handling cash, updating calendars and records, and supporting daily clerical tasks. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a passion for sharing Kingman’s attractions with the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with administrative coursework.
• 1–2 years experience in administrative/customer service in tourism or related setting.
• Public contact and cash handling/reconciliation experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, publications, presentations).
• Any combination of experience and training showing the knowledge to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Guest information and directional guidance at the visitor center and gift shop.
• Maintain records, calendars, and department databases; assist with correspondence.
• Handle cash transactions and balance the register at shifts.
• Assist with event calendars and marketing collateral as needed.
