Job summary

Naprotek, LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking an inspector to perform a wide range of complex inspections in the production/assembly process, including visual, dimensional, and functional checks on component boards and assemblies. You may hand solder for touch ups and rework using soldering stations and repair equipment.

Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and test procedures; adhere to IPC-A-610D standards, and assist with PCB repairs as required in a flexible, small-company environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments, specification interpretation and quality control terminology.
• Minimum of three years of increasingly difficult rework experience. Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Purpose:

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of complex inspections in the production/assembly process. Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine as well as repetitive visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of component boards and assemblies. Ability to hand solder components for touch up, rework, wire, follow ECN instruction by using soldering stations and SRT/BGA repair machines. Must be flexible to support a small company’s goals and may have other duties as assigned by manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ability to hand solder components for touch up/Rework using soldering stations.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments, specification interpretation and quality control terminology.
• Complies with IPC-A-610D standards and must be able to perform PCB repairs, using scopes.
• Minimum of three years of increasingly difficult rework experience. Good communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned by management
