Job summary

Lead tolerance studies, support external vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust sensing solutions used by millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3D CAD experience required; solid mechanics knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to craft clear engineering documentation.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and external vendors to achieve goals.
• Preferred: high-volume consumer electronics or sensing experience; GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create specifications, detailed design and 2D documentation of parts and assemblies.
• Electrical component and module integration.
• Build proof of concept and prototypes, testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet integration, performance and reliability requirements.
• Partner with external vendors and internal manufacturing teams to optimize designs for function, manufacturability and cosmetics.
• Ensure designs meet requirements through stress, tolerance, and failure analyses.
• Analyze data from builds and design of experiments.
