The Sensing Product Design team is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to own the end-to-end design, integration, and validation of mission-critical sensing modules across Apple's product lineup. In this role, you sit at the intersection of mechanical design, advanced materials, precision packaging, and high-volume manufacturing. You will champion your module from early architectural conception through mass production- turning complex electromechanical challenges into elegant, reliable hardware. In this role, you will be responsible for specifying, developing, characterizing, and validating touch sensing systems. You will own the end-to-end design, development, and validation of sensing technology into Apple's portfolio of products. You will work with a talented multifunctional team to generate design concepts. As the mechanical expert, you will be responsible for the engineering analysis and documentation for your piece of the project. At the end of the extraordinary team effort, your work will be in the hands of millions of people making a visible difference in their daily lives.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
