Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Arkansas is seeking a packaging operator to set up, fill and complete totes, ensuring packaging materials are clean and safe.

You will maintain product quality before, during and after packaging while following all safety and food safety rules. This is a safety-sensitive position with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be willing and able to lift and stack up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 5 feet off the ground.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE.
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Description/Job Summary

Schedule: Monday – Friday 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Job Summary: Responsible for set up, filling, and completion of totes. Also, responsible ensuring packaging materials are kept clean and safe. Maintaining quality product (ensure counts, product appearance of packaged product) before, during and after packaging.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must be willing and able to lift and stack up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 5 feet off the ground.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
