Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a reliable teammate to operate a push-pull machine, stack and unload packaged products on slip sheets and pallets, and maintain accurate counts. You will use scan guns for traceability and inventory control, wrap products, and ensure quality and proper appearance.

You will inspect equipment daily, keep records, and adhere to Safety and Food Safety rules while working overtime as needed, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills.
• Must read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to operate scanner.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and maneuver for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a push-pull machine and stack/take down packaged product on slip sheets or pallets.
• Use scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control.
• Manually stack and wrap packaged product with attention to counts and appearance.
• Inspect push-pull equipment daily and maintain records of inspections, cleaning, and scanning.
• Follow all Safety and Food Safety rules and cooperate with supervisor.

Job description

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Job Summary: Operating a push pull machine while stacking and taking down packaged product on slip sheets and/or pallets. Responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product, and maintaining quality product (ensure proper counts, appearance of packaged product, etc.). Responsible for inspection (checking hoses and working condition of the equipment) of push pull on a daily basis, and maintaining records related to inspections, cleaning, and scanning of product.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must possess basic computer skills to operate scanner.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 3 ft.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand or walk for periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
