Job summary

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

Responsible for insuring packaging materials are kept clean and safe. Assist with packaging product, maintaining quality product (ensure counts, product appearance of packaged product) before, during and after packaging. Responsible for manually folding the bag, pushing box through the sealer machine. Will have to do rework on product that is damaged or not sealed properly. General sanitation activities (dry cleaning, sweeping, blowing using compressed air, etc.) in your work area and within the department.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills. (Add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must be willing and able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
