Job summary

Producers Rice Mill, Inc. in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a Palletizer Operator - Packing to join our packaging team. You will operate and maintain the palletizer, wrapper, and conveyors, ensuring clean packaging materials and accurate counts and appearance of bags.

You will verify labels, record lot code information, and perform cleaning and preventive maintenance documentation. The role requires physical stamina, basic math, and adherence to safety and food safety rules in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for counting and measurements.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to climb up to 30 feet as part of packaging line.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform manual tasks.
• Willingness to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for long periods.
• Must wear and follow PPE and food safety rules.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn during shifts.
• Flexibility to work overtime including weekends.

Palletizer Operator - Packing

Location: Stuttgart, Arkansas, US

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Job Summary: Operation and maintenance of palletizer, wrapper, conveyors, etc. Responsible for ensuring packaging materials are kept clean and safe. Maintaining quality product (ensure proper counts, product, appearance of packages product before, during, and after packaging). Ensure proper labels are used on bags during production process. Documenting labels and product verification lot code information onto product. Record keeping related to cleaning and preventative maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math. (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing to climb up to 30 feet.
• Must be willing to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
• Must possess basic maintenance skills.
• Must be willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
