Job summary

EMP Trust HR Solutions is seeking a forklift operator to move packaged goods and ensure product safety and traceability. You will load, stack, wrap, and inspect products, using scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 110 pounds as well as climb up to 4 feet. Candidates should be comfortable with mixed temperatures and PPE, and be able to follow all safety protocols.

• Operate forklift to move packaged product on slip sheets or pallets
• Inspect carriers for safety, cleanliness, and product integrity
• Use scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory records
• Stack and wrap items and ensure proper quality before/during/after loading
• Maintain forklift inspection and sanitation records

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Job Summary

Operate forklift to lift and take down packaged product on slip sheets and/or pallets. Inspect carriers (trucks, boxcars) to ensure the carrier is safe, clean and does not compromise product quality and/or safety. responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Maintaining quality product before, during and after loading. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product. Responsible for completing and maintaining inspection of forklift (checking hoses, working condition, etc. daily), electronic scanning of product, and sanitation records.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess basic math. (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing to climb up to 4 feet.
• Must be willing to lift up to 110 pounds.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
• Must have prior forklift experience.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.
