Job summary

Workcare Inc is seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer to deliver industrial injury prevention and total worker health services across designated service centers in Flagstaff, AZ. You will provide triage, first-aid, care escalation, and ergonomic assessments while supporting injured employees and promoting healthful work practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field, BOC certification, CPR/First Aid, and at least 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required.
• BOC Certified AT, in good standing required.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first-aid, and escalation of care when needed.
• Facilitate communication across injury case management teams.
• Support injured employees and monitor medical care and reporting.
• Assist in finding temporary modified work per physical restrictions.
• Conduct ergonomic analyses and provide workstation recommendations.
• Provide on-the-job education to improve physical resilience and posture.
• Help employees improve lifestyle areas like nutrition and stress management.
• Maintain records of triage, first-aid, and education provided.
• Engage with employees at their work location to mitigate injuries.
