Job summary

Island Finance seeks a Manager of Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll to lead the organization’s total rewards strategy and payroll operations. You will partner with the HR Director and senior leadership to design competitive salary structures, oversee benefits programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across payroll processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in compensation, benefits, and payroll, with deep Workday/ADP SmartCompliance experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Advanced degrees preferred (MBA, Master's in HR, or related disciplines).
  • Professional certifications preferred (SHRM-SCP/CCBP).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compensation programs including salary structures and internal equity.
  • Lead payroll processing with regulatory compliance and system integrity.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ERISA compliance.
  • Ensure tax filings, audit readiness, and annual reporting (W-2, etc.).
  • Manage leave administration and HR budget; monitor attendance and accruals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and manage HRIS data integrity.
