Job summary

The Christopher Group is seeking a Head of Total Rewards to lead compensation and benefits strategy for a federally funded research environment. You will oversee executive compensation, incentives, benefits, mobility, and wellness while aligning programs with organizational goals.

This role requires extensive HR leadership experience and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. You will partner with the CHRO, Finance, and board stakeholders to drive a high-performing total rewards

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in related field with degree.
• 10+ years HR with 5+ years in compensation leadership.
• Deep expertise in job evaluation, compensation design, benefits administration and compliance.
• Experience navigating OFCCP, EEO and FLSA regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in HR tech and compensation tools to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee design, execution, communication and administration of total rewards programs.
• Provide executive oversight with external consultants for executive compensation plans and reporting.
• Partner with leadership to align total rewards with business goals.
• Drive evaluation and enhancement of programs for competitiveness and equity.
• Develop and lead holistic total rewards strategy including learning and wellness.
• Oversee budgets, vendor relations, and compliance filings and audits.
• Lead a high-performing team of compensation and benefits professionals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HRBPs and senior leadership on priorities.
