Job summary

Hollywood Park is seeking a Director, Total Rewards to lead compensation, benefits, HRIS and payroll functions. Reporting to the VP, People Operations, you will drive a total rewards strategy, oversee leaves, HRIS and payroll operations, and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor a small team, benchmark positions with market surveys, and maintain pay equity across a multi-entity environment in a dynamic, on-site Inglewood setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Total Rewards, Payroll, and HRIS.
• Experience with job architecture and salary structure design; familiarity with market survey tools.
• Knowledge of FLSA, California pay transparency, and multi-state employment law; multi-state a plus.
• CCP/SPHR/PHR certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Paycor, Workday, Dayforce or similar HRIS platforms.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient with Excel, dashboards, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end annual compensation cycle: merit increases, market adjustments, promotions, budget, and bonus pay.
• Oversee Benefits, Leaves, HRIS, and payroll operations for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop People Analytics dashboards to track HR trends for leadership.
• Ensure payroll compliance and audit integrity across systems.
• Stay current on changing labor laws and regulatory filings.
• Manage Workers' Compensation program.
