Job summary

Hollywood Feed seeks an experienced Interim Manager, Compensation & Benefits to lead total rewards operations during a transitional period. Oversee wage structures, incentive plans, and health/retirement programs across stores, DCs, and HQ.

The ideal candidate brings deep benefits experience, data-driven decision making, and strong knowledge of multi-state employment regulations to support talent retention in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in compensation and benefits management.
• Experience in multi-site or retail environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, FLSA, ACA, FMLA, COBRA and state payroll/benefits compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of health, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) programs.
• Liaise with brokers, vendors, and carriers to resolve escalations and ensure coverage.
• Support enrollment, communications, system testing, and execution with HR leadership.
• Audit base pay structures and conduct market pricing and job evaluations.
• Ensure regulatory filings and compliance testing (Form 5500, etc.).
