Job summary

Beacon Hill represents a nationally recognized nonprofit seeking a Senior Director, Total Rewards. You will lead compensation, benefits, retirement and wellness programs, and drive HRIS and system modernization while partnering with executive leadership to align rewards with organizational goals.

Hybrid work arrangement with committed in-office presence in Washington, DC. The role reports to the SVP and steers a Total Rewards team to deliver compliant, employee-centric programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications are a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits.
• Deep expertise in compensation strategy, benefits administration, retirement plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong experience with HRIS platforms, preferably UKG.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's Total Rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, retirement, and wellness programs.
• Drive modernization and transformation of operations, processes, and systems.
• Manage comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, ensuring compliance and an exceptional employee experience.
• Oversee compensation programs and annual compensation planning.
• Partner across teams and with executive leadership to align rewards programs with organizational goals.
• Lead HRIS and People Systems strategy, ensuring accurate data, reporting, and system controls.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team while fostering continuous improvement.
