Job summary

University of North Florida's Human Resources, Classification & Compensation team seeks a compensation professional to support job evaluations, market analysis, and policy interpretation. You will ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and equitable pay practices across the university.

The role includes reporting and project support for compensation, classification, and total rewards, reviews of salary recommendations for new hires, and market studies to keep UNF competitive and internally

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
Knowledge of pay practices, guidelines, and compensation structures.

Responsibilities

Reviews and analyzes position descriptions and compensation requests.
Performs compensation assessments including reclassification, promotions, and org structure reviews.
Evaluates classifications and compensation in accordance with university pay practices.
Develops and maintains classification reports and positions with special designations.
Assists with salary recommendations for new hires based on guidelines and external positioning.
Performs market studies and internal job analyses to ensure pay practices are competitive.
