UNC Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Senior Classification and Compensation Consultant to drive excellence across the university’s workforce infrastructure. You will balance regulatory expertise with campus partnership, focusing on compensation and job analysis, exemption determinations, and internal equity reviews.

You will support compliance with FLSA, SHRA/EHRA, and state laws, conduct audits, prepare metrics for leadership, and participate in annual raise processes and salary surveys

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Performs market and equity analysis of positions to assess salaries.
• Analyzes market data for range updates and compensation administration.
• Determine classifications and salary ranges; advise on exemption statuses (FLSA / EHRA).
• Provide organizational design recommendations and guidance to campus departments.
