Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking an experienced Total Loss Adjuster in Kentucky to resolve complex auto and related claims. You will review coverage, loss details, and estimates to evaluate total loss and manage rental and other expenses, working within authority limits for timely settlements.

Responsibilities include pursuing ongoing education, securing required state licenses, and maintaining strong communication with insureds, claimants, and service partners to achieve fair outcomes while

Qualifications

2 years minimum of property and casualty handling experience including investigation, total loss and negotiation of claims.
Must apply for and possess state licenses required by the assigned state.
Excellent planning, organization and communications skills.

Responsibilities

Reviews loss notices to determine exposure and ensure proper establishment in the loss system.
Communicates with insureds, claimants, attorneys, body shop personnel and others to settle claims within guidance.
Handles claims within regulatory guidelines and maintains knowledge of applicable laws.
