Responsibilities

• Take statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses; obtain and review evidence.
• Investigate losses and identify coverage issues.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and claimants' attorneys.
• Research state laws and medical terms.
• Attend Basic Claims training; travel may be required during training.
• Maintain a passing average in formal courses and meet performance expectations.
• State Licensing exams required to fulfill licensing requirements.
