Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Total Joints for our Largo Medical Center and surrounding DC Metro area. MAPMG is physician-led with physician compensation and offers a pathway to shareholder status.

The role includes primary revision hip/knee cases, dedicated OR time, clinic days with PA support, and collaboration with arthroplasty partners. Requirements include MD or DO and Board Certified or Eligible in Adult Reconstruction Fellowship;

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery Adult Reconstruction Fellowship is required.
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Handle primary revision hip and knee cases.
• Dedicated OR time (1–2 days per week).
• Clinic days with PA oversight in clinic.
• Collaborate with arthroplasty partners.
• Participate in 1:13 trauma call schedule at a level II trauma center.
