Competenze

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Mansioni

• Independently manage a substantial caseload of tort defense matters from inception through settlement or trial.
• Handle premises liability or automobile accident defense cases.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and case management plans.
• Deponent parties, witnesses, and experts as needed.
• Draft pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Evaluate liability, damages, exposure, and settlement opportunities.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, claims reps, and opposing counsel.
• Attend court conferences, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Maintain control of deadlines, appearances, and case reporting requirements.
• Work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
