Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in NY.
• 2+ years defending premises liability or automobile cases.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Courtroom confidence and comfort working with clients and adjusters.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full docket of defense cases from start to finish with autonomy.
• Direct communication with clients and insurance carriers.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at mediations and settlement conferences.
• Handle appeals.
