Job summary

HYTORC is seeking a Tool Repair Technician to service Pneumatic and Electro-Mechanical Torque Multiplier tools in our service shop. The role involves repairing tools, pretesting, troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining safety and equipment records.

Candidates should have at least two years of tool repair experience, own basic tools, and a high school diploma with a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience repairing and maintaining tools or equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot and prioritize workload.
  • Must have and be able to use your own set of basic tools.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with hands in mechanically oriented situations.
  • Must be a dependable team player with strong commitment to quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain torque tools and equipment requiring mechanical, electrical or pneumatic repair.
  • Pretest pneumatic and electric tools for form, fit and function.
  • Troubleshoot, tear down, repair, reassemble and calibrate torque multiplying tools.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams, engineers and customers.
  • Ensure safety decals and operating features are intact and maintain maintenance records.
  • Assist in training customers on tool operation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate customer service through cooperative, professional interactions.
