Job summary

HYTORC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment. The role involves pretesting, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with sales, service, and engineering teams to meet daily repair needs.

Candidates should have at least two years of tool repair experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Strong hands-on ability, safety awareness and good communication are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair equipment or tools and plan troubleshooting steps.
• Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
• Strong hand dexterity and comfort with mechanically oriented tasks.
• Excellent communication and reliability; able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair.
• Pretest hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for proper form, fit and function.
• Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, reassemble and test pumps, motors and tools in shop.
• Collaborate with sales, service, engineers and customers to meet repair needs.
• Ensure safety decals and operating features are checked; maintain maintenance logs.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service through daily activities and professional interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repairs and calibrate tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
• Pretesting of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.
• The job involves trouble-shooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and testing pumps, motors and tools in shop.
• Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day to day repair requirements.
• Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features andmaintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
• Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
• Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations.
• Must be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater lbs.
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
