Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Houston seeks a Technical Specialist to lead the design and delivery of topside packaged equipment. You will own the technical aspects from concept through integration, working within the Controls and Automation department and coordinating with project teams.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years' experience in hydraulics, rotating machinery, and safety systems, with strong communication and mentorship abilities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required or preferred with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Topsides and subsea control equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsible engineer for topside packaged equipment such as Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) and Topside Umbilical Termination Units (TUTA).
• Document and adhere to system and product requirements.
• Conceptualize and perform design activities and internal technical reviews to freeze requirements and designs.
• Develop, build, test, assemble and configure project deliverables including Factory Acceptance and Integration Tests.
• Communicate project status and issues with stakeholders; lead technical issue resolution.
• Support projects throughout project/product lifecycle; ensure timely delivery and compliance.
