Job summary

Seatrium Limited seeks an experienced Engineer in Houston to lead package procurement engineering for offshore projects. You will review topside sub-contractor deliverables, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure alignment with project specifications and schedules.

The role requires a Mechanical/Mechatronics degree and at least six years in oil and gas mechanical design, planning and construction, with strong vendor management and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics or related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in planning, designing and construction of mechanical design in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Review topside subcontractor deliverables (MDS, specs, TBE, POQR, TQ) against project specs.
• Expedite responses from subcontractors, clients, vendors and cross-discipline teams.
• Monitor subcontractor progress to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Participate in bids clarifications, kick-offs, design reviews, safety studies and model reviews.
• Support procurement to resolve technical disputes.
• Review and comment on vendor documents during detailed engineering.
• Provide technical support to installation, construction and commissioning teams.
• Attend FATs and receiving inspections when assigned.
• Resolve comments on packages handled.
