Job summary

Seatrium Limited in Houston seeks a senior piping engineer to lead a group of piping engineers and designers on offshore projects. You will manage study planning, master schedule, and interface with construction teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery of isometric, spool drawings, and related outputs.

The role requires 8+ years in piping engineering, offshore/shipyard FPSO experience, and strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, API standards.

Qualifications

8+ years piping engineering experience.
Offshore/Shipyard project experience preferred.
FPSO experience preferred.
Topside Piping Design knowledge required.
ASME, ASTM, API standards knowledge.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Excel proficiency preferred.
2D: AutoCAD; 3D: Naviswork/Smart Plant/Aveva/Cadmatic.

Responsibilities

Prepare project planning including work scopes, manhours, and interfaces.
Lead piping engineers and designers on project execution.
Review and monitor piping design progress and interfaces with construction.
Prepare TQs and EVOs for piping scope changes.
Ensure piping output (isometrics, spool drawings) aligns with construction needs.
Monitor piping design data, 3D model vs P&ID compliance.
