Job summary

RTX BBN Technologies in Rosslyn, VA is seeking a Systems Administrator for the Business Infrastructure group. The role focuses on core network infrastructure, server installs, lab setups, scripting, automation, and VM management in lab environments.

The ideal candidate will have Top Secret clearance, DoD RMF/NIST experience, and hands-on skills with Windows/Linux, AD, Splunk, Nessus, and STIG tools. Onsite work at the Rosslyn facility with collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Ability to access U.S. only data systems.
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
CompTIA Security+ CE certification or other equivalent which meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
Experience with STIG/SCAP tools and RMF/NIST 800-53 compliance.

Responsibilities

Work primarily on-site at our facility in Rosslyn, VA.
Collaborate with Cyber Security team to ensure information systems conform to customer specifications (NIST and RMF).
Propose, design, purchase, and implement technical solutions to customer requirements.
Perform regular information systems maintenance including software updates, hardware refreshes, licensing, and changing requirements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in lab environments (Active Directory, antivirus, vulnerability assessments, network device configuration).
Generate, organize and maintain IT documentation related to lab environments.
