Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a senior engineering leader to coach a team of software, DevOps, and AI engineers across the organization. You will guide staffing, AI solution development, performance management, and engineering-process rigor while partnering with HR on personnel matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field; 6+ years in Software/DevOps/AI; or 4 years with Master’s; or 3 years with PhD.
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
Minimum 3 years direct technical execution in Software/DevOps/AI/ML roles.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Engineering Processes and Leadership.
Experience collaborating with internal and external customers/partners.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software, DevOps, and AI engineers.
Own full hiring lifecycle: workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Identify and implement AI solutions to accelerate tasks and drive efficiency.
Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate compensation reviews.
Enforce engineering-process standards and agile/lean practices.
Partner with HR on employee relations and policy compliance.
