Job summary

A3 Consulting LLC seeks a ServiceNow Systems Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to support a DoD enterprise. You will install, administer, and secure a custom ServiceNow platform, ensuring uptime, compliance, and operational readiness in the DC area.

You will develop documentation, support RMF/A&A activities, coordinate vulnerability management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical services for insider threat and DoD programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
DoD 8570/8140 certification required.
3–5 years of experience in System Engineering and Administration with the ServiceNow platform.
Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments.
Demonstrated proficiency with the DoD RMF process, assessments, and documentation.
Experience with enterprise RMF compliance tools such as eMASS, Xacta, or CSAM.
Experience with Nessus, Tenable, or Retina scans.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain system sustainment and maintenance documentation (e.g., System Administration Manual, Configuration Management Plan, DoD Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery Plans, Technical Design Documents).
Support installation, administration, maintenance, backup, and recovery of a ServiceNow-based custom application.
Design, develop, and implement strategies for system security, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
Support the Configuration Control Board (CCB) requirements and processes for deployments and patches.
Coordinate vulnerability scans, analyze results, and support remediation efforts.
Capture and analyze application performance metrics and recommend improvements to uptime and stability.
Develop, maintain, and enhance processes, technical documentation, plans, and reports.
Support A&A activities under DoD RMF to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
Coordinate and support security testing and patching, ensure compliance with STIGs and directives.
Document software defects, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Stay updated on trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address mission-critical needs.
