Job summary

A3 Consulting LLC is seeking a talented ServiceNow Systems Engineer to join our team. You will manage the installation, administration, maintenance, backup, and restoration of a custom ServiceNow application for the DoD Enterprise.

The role requires a DoD RMF orientation, compliance with STIGs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure mission-critical reliability. Remote work options in the DC area are available, with a salary range of $120,000–$132,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• DoD 8570/8140 certification required.
• 3-5 years of experience in System Engineering and Administration with the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments.
• Proficiency with DoD RMF process, assessments, and documentation.
• Experience with enterprise RMF compliance tools such as eMASS, Xacta, or CSAM.
• Experience with Nessus, Tenable, or Retina scans.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain system sustainment and maintenance documentation (e.g., System Administration Manual, CM Plan, SOPs).
• Support installation, administration, maintenance, backup, and recovery of a ServiceNow-based application.
• Design, develop, and implement strategies for system security, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
• Support CCB requirements and processes before deployments and patches.
• Support data export and data transfer as needed.
• Analyze application performance metrics and recommend improvements to uptime and reliability.
• Coordinate RMF A&A activities to maintain Authority to Operate for the DoD application.
• Coordinate vulnerability scans and remediation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with STIGs, DoD directives, and security controls.
